Certification Training

Certification training is available for field employees for Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP) or aerial lifts. This training session will provide certification for operation of this type of equipment on job sites. This course will provide the appropriate training to ensure the safety of our employees as well as the certification to meet job site requirements.

Each trainee will need to bring their personal harness (in good working condition) for use during the training. Training to begin at the same time as the programming on Friday, lunch will be included in the cost.

Cost for the training will be $150/office and $200/field per person and can be paid by selecting the programming option in the Paypal button above.

Imperial Safety Solutions Mobile Elevating Work Platform-MEWP Training

January 28, 2022
8:00am – Early Afternoon

At the end of the training participants should be able to:

  • Define different MEWP lifts.
  • Describe the main components of a MEWP.
  • Perform a pre-operational inspection on a lift.
  • Describe the steps needed to ensure a safe work zone.
  • Demonstrate safe operating procedures on:
    • Group A Type 3 Lift (Scissor Lift)
    • Group B Type 3 Lift (Articulating Boom Lift)
  • Materials required:
    • PFAS Full body harness able to pass inspection
    • Hard Hat
    • Works Shoes

Mark Graham

Mark S. Graham holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering. In 1984, he began his career in the roofing industry when he joined F.J.A. Christiansen Roofing Co. Inc. in Milwaukee as an estimator and project manager. In 1986, he joined Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates Inc., in Northbrook, Ill., as a project engineer specializing in the investigation, design and repair of roof and waterproofing systems.
